Explore breathtaking mountain landscapes on short walks to a crystal-clear lagoon and a magical waterfall—perfect for grounding yourself in nature or enjoying a refreshing swim.

Step back in time as we visit a typical village, where you’ll discover a fascinating way of life rooted in traditions and a commitment to heritage and cultural preservation.

Food is a great way to preserve culture, and you’ll enjoy a traditional meal in a welcoming local restaurant, featuring fresh, flavourful, and delicious food— vinho verde (green wine) included!

      • The tour is not wheelchair accessible or recommended for people with back/knee problems or serious medical conditions.

        • Travel time 1h40 min:  Porto > National Park / National Park > Porto.


        • Take into consideration that the Land Rover is a vintage car, built for the mountains but not for comfort- some parts of the ride can be uncomfortable.
        • Some of the seats of the jipe are not forward-facing, and taller travellers may feel cramped.
        • Being a vintage car the seatbelts are different from modern cars, some seats just have the waist belt.
        • If you suffer from car sickness you should take medication before the tour or bring it with you on the tour.
        • We advise you to swap seats with the other travellers during the day.


        • Infant seats are available - children must be accompanied by an adult.
        • Age restriction: 3 to 75 years old.


        • The paths are downhill and uphill, terrain can be slippery and you might need to scramble over some rocks.
        • This activity is available all year round.
        • The itinerary may be adjusted to ensure you make the most of Peneda-Gerês National Park. In case of rain or changing weather conditions, the program can be adapted to guarantee a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
        • The tour may be cancelled/rescheduled: due to bad weather conditions or if the minimum number of participants is not reached.

        • Meeting points are accessible by public transportation.

          • Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and non-slip walking shoes (no sandals or flip flops);
          • Warm clothes, change of clothing and a raincoat or jacket (fall and winter);
          • Swimsuit and a towel (swimming is only possible if the waterfall’s current allows);
          • Sunscreen;
          • Snack for mid-morning/afternoon;
          • Water: we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle, which you can refill with fresh mountain water along the way;
